CASA DE VACAS 2011
This project for Casa de Vacas is based on the observation of the influence that the different activities of a city exert on the façades, in this case, of Madrid.
A walk, the plan of which I will describe a route. Personally, I have been observing the continuous change that is taking place in the city as I walk around the capital. Its physiognomy is constantly changing and degrading over time. Buildings papered with posters, which a few days later will be covered by other posters or new graffiti. Buildings under construction, with billboards, which days, weeks or months later will have disappeared.

Graffiti that does not respect anything, even invading the tiles of the old commercial premises. Other graffiti that compete with the existing ones, imposing their signature. Bare party walls that will later be covered by a new building, with "For Sale" signs. Transitory elements that lean on them, such as motorbikes, bicycles, rubbish bins, boxes.
The exhibition I did was a reflection of the city's behaviour. Three types of works can be found:
1- In which I propose a poster design, billboards in which idyllic places of rest appear, references to the world of art, singular characters of our society, bullfighting, literature.
2- On some ceramic facades, degraded by graffiti, I carry out a restoration work.
3- In others, I look for harmony between the facades and the transitory elements (motorbikes, bicycles, rubbish bins), creating a whole. The exhibition was organised in a modular distribution of 192 x 192 cm to which the paintings of different formats are adapted to give homogeneity to the space.
