Coro López-Izquierdo (Madrid 1958) is an architect and has been a lecturer in Architectural Drawing I and Architectural Drawing II at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Edificación at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid since 1983.

Passion for art and architecture are part of the DNA of López-Izquierdo's family, forming part of a saga of architects that goes back to her great-grandfather.

"Her interest in experimentation with architecture, the natural and the urban environment. Her style within modern realism describes a constantly changing reality through a profound study of light, colour and form. Coro explores and documents her environment by visiting the spaces that catch her attention and then working in her studio. She manages to place tradition at the service of a new personal discourse".
